Other services

We also hold a Wednesday communion service at 9:30 -10:00 with refreshments afterwards.

Morning prayer is said in the main building throughout the year at 9:00-9:30 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and at  8:00 -8:30 on Friday. All are welcome to attend.

Our Church

A church has stood on St Mary's site from at least the 12th century and this can be seen in the beauty and history of the building. One of the highlights of visiting the church is the incredible medieval wall paintings which were recovered and restored in the 20th century.

This does not mean St Mary's is a museum for the history of a faith, but more a living place of history and life. Do come along and find out more about St Mary's church.
